I have order several products from Captain Mowatts. Love them all. Great products, high quality. Great flavors.

Have to have a bottle in the fridge at all times. Delicious on seafood and rice dishes.

I mix this with olive oil and add chia and flax seeds (whole & crushed) and dip fresh vegetables in it. The chia & flax help to keep the oil & sauce mixed. It's my go to afternoon snack! Works great with all the hot sauce flavors.

I gave some to friends, and don’t have their opinions yet. But, they love hot sauce, so I don’t think they will be disappointed. It’s good stuff! I would suggest putting the plastic lid with the limited drops that you can cover your food with. You definitely can add too much if you’re not careful. Really good stuff!

The Blue Flame is absolutely delicious. Very mild heat, but loads of Maine blueberry flavor. It’s a thicker, syrupy sauce (but not like maple syrup). You can tell the fruit pectin is in tact. Highly recommend trying. Other than the usual, it’s also excellent on vanilla ice cream!

Super tasty!

This is one of my favorite hot sauces. It's absolutely delicious. It's a little thinner in consistency than some of the other Mowatts sauces but it doesn't matter.

I thought the Boston Red Sauce and the Maine Black Beary were the best hot sauces on the planet until the Blue Flame arrived. Blueberries are my favorite fruit and I was totally psyched to try Captain Mowatt’s creation! I’m using it on salads! The most amazing hot sauce(s) I’ve ever tasted. We Blue Flame - it makes the perfect topping on vanilla or mint chip ice cream. The fruity spice is such a nice counterbalance to the cold creamy. It also is great on the more typical burrito.

Love this sauce! It’s delicious on everything I’ve tried it on this far (chicken & steak). The blueberry profile really shines through on the front end of the taste profile and then the heat kicks in. Will certainly be keeping this stocked in our household.

Bought several of these to try, Red Sauce, Blackberry (limited ed.), blueberry, raspberry... I am not a fan of super spicy. Tried them on some raw veggies straight up, and it was a bit hot for my taste, but then I mixed it with olive oil and a bit of maple syrup, and sprinkled in some flax seed meal and chia seeds that I sprinkle on everything. That helped to keep everything mixed together, and I've been dipping raw veggies in it all week! Delicious! Can't wait to use it for some grilled fish and shrimp!!

Such a great flavor. I use it in soups, burgers, veggie burgers and chicken. It’s not too spicy and has just a hint of blueberry flavor. You’ll be surprised how this hot sauce blends with all kinds of foods. Highly recommend!!

While vacationing in Maine this year, I fell in love with Blueberry Hot Sauce. After talking with a waitress at a restaurant, she told me about this Captain Mowatt's brand and said it was even better than the one at their restaurant. I looked them up and made a note to pick some up after I got home. I placed my order when back in Massachusetts, and it showed up the next day! The shipping was super-fast, and the packaging was amazing. I could have thrown this from my roof and it would not have broken! We opened the bottle, made some tacos, and poured some on. This hot sauce WAS even more amazing than the one at the restaurant! Perfect blend of heat and sweetness. We went through the bottle within the week! I will soon be placing a bigger order and sharing with friends as this stuff is amazing.

My wife bought some while on vacation in Maine, once I tried it I was hooked. It’s flavorful but not overly spicy, I love the balance. Just bought 6 bottles.

At Christmas we put Canceaux Turbeaux over cream cheese with triscuits. Can I say YUMMY! This is Blue Blaze over cream cheese as a snack. It is addictive!! Living in Louisana I love spicy. I never cared for Tabasco or Louisiana Hot Sauce. I love that I discovered the Captain on my 1st trip to Main this fall. I am hooked on the Captain ⚓❤

We just got the sauce delivered yesterday. I made some "make shift" tarter sauce yesterday using my usual mayo, sour cream, relish and Worcestershire. I decided to add this yummy hot sauce and, no surprise, best fish sticks ever. Looking forward to trying them all.

Purchased this sauce in Maine when on vacation and was in love with the flavor and spice immediately and thank goodness they sell online! I use for dunking anything grilled in it, especially wings and blue cheese!
