This is the most delicious Canceaux sauce I've ever tasted. I put it on everything. I even mixed it with an excellent mayonnaise.

While living and working in Maine most of my life as a truck driver for Hannaford's my route would take me down on commercial street early in the morning and a quick breakfast at Becky's restaurant and my first encounter with captain mowatt's canceaux sauce So impressed by taste on my eggs I started buying it from Becky's display case for home use.Trust me you can put it on most everything and it will make whatever taste even betterso,wherever you live they can get it to you like me in now in Arizona! I keep both Canceaux and Canceaux TurbeauX around so that I can adjust my heat level without going to a different flavor profile of a different sauce. Sometimes the food just needs a little something (Canceaux) and sometimes it's a bit bland and needs a lot (Turbeaux) but most of the time it's somewhere in the middle and I just love being able to mix them to get it just right!

Love this sauce! We were introduced to in at The Nonantum Resort in Kennebunkport and it has become a favorite. The sauce has a nice amount of heat and great body - not watery at all. I love the fact that's small batch made and not mass produced. Highly recommend!

First, I was SOOO impressed with the shipping! They were individually packaged in their own bubble of insanely strong protection. I wish they made human sized ones, it would make for a lot of fun!

I put this sauce on about everything. It comes in sweet with a power punch at the end. Nothing too strong that makes you hesitate eating your next bite… it’s right in the sweet spot of temps. I’m honored to taste such a delicious treat. Works esp well with an egg roll, has browns, and just an overall go to. Go see the sauce boss, cuz this stuff is too good to pass up.

Tried this at Becky’s Diner in Portland Maine and loved it. Went through two bottles in the same amount of weeks. Ordered the five pack and tried the Turbeaux and the extra heat is great without losing any flavor. Glad I can buy direct (which was super fast by the way)cuz I’m gonna need more!

All the delicious flavor of regular Canceaux with just the right amount of extra heat. Goes great on chicken, seafood, eggs, and even tofu. I also love to mix it with ranch dressing for a quick and easy veggie dip.

Canceaux sauce has always been my favorite hot sauce since I first tried it a long time ago (almost 20 years I think). Now when I feel like it I step on the gas with Canceaux Turbeaux. Same great flavor with a bit more heat.

I've been hooked on Captain Mowatt's Canceaux sauce since a trip to Maine several years ago, when we tasted it at a local shop. A little spicy and a little sweet, with an awesome flavor that goes with so many things. I also love many of their other sauces, such as the Shark Bite mustard. Hail to the Captain!!

We love Canceaux Turbeaux as well as most of the Captain Mowatt inventions. As for use --- hmmm, it goes at any given time on most or any things - eggs, meats, stews, salad dressings - you get the picture. Shark mustard, spitfire, mild canceaux, etc add another dimension to the pleasures. loved the ghost salt, by the way, and used judiciously, is very yum! Will, no doubt, order it next time we order.

I first had Captain Mowatt’s hot sauce when visiting my cousin in Portland, Maine. It was an instant love affair. I ended up finding their website and from that point on I was hooked. For about three years now I reorder getting at least a case of the sauces at a time. Iv’e favor both their Canceaux Sauce (hot & tasty) and their Canceaux Turbeaux Sauce (hotter & tasty). I usually order about 3-4 of the hot to every one of the hotter. the sauce is used by me on almost everything: fish, meat, pork, chicken, and even on sautéed veggies but. I do sweet, but it’s not that the sauce is even the least burden o eat and enjoy its taste. My sweeting is just my body saying it is hot and flavorful. I have tries most all of the other offerings from their web site however these two are what I consistently reorder time and time again.it’s not they the others are not tasty, it’s just these are the most versatile ones for my taste buds. You may choose to venture and see if you like any of the others, too. I would say if your like hot sauce, you’ll love their hot sauces. Incase you’re wondering, I live in Lafayette, CO outside Boulder, CO and it’s shipped form them in Portland and is so well packaged I have not had any damage at all. The only caution I have is once you taste it you’ll become addicted to it. Enjoy!!!!

This is by far the best hot sauce have ever tasted. It has the great sweetness and them just the right heat. It complements food not overpowering it. Tremendous product.

Canceaux Turbeaux is absolutely my family’s go-to hot sauce. My wife and I first tried it in a shop in Ogunquit, Me. when we were on our Honeymoon. It has the best combination of heat and flavor of any sauce I have ever tasted. We use it on eggs, sandwiches, in sauces and marinades. The uses are limited only by your imagination.

We discovered this 6yrs ago in Kennebunkport and have placed quite a few orders since with you. Absolutely LOVE, and it’s become a prime ingredient in hubby’s hot jerky marinade, and I put it on everything I can. Your hot sauces are the BEST.

I discovered Captain Mowatts a few years back in Kennebunkport and I absolutely LOVED IT!!! Their turbo sauce has a little kick to it, but not too much and is also sweet. The flavor is fantastic and i highly recommend it it to anyone super into hot sauce or just a beginner. 5 out of 5 stars!!!!

I enjoyed this so much on my Mahi Mahi it is just the right heat for me, just now able to eat some spice as I had my Gallbladder die and attach to my colon in hospital of five days it was bad with the covid going on, but I am still alive and your sauces are the first of the spice I have enjoyed after three weeks and I didn't get sick. Hand crafted hot sauce by a dedicated family from Maine... What's not to like?

This sauce is sweet, with just enough pepper to give it a zip of heat. I really enjoy this stuff on shrimp, and deli sandwiches! Very, VERY tasty.

I bought 5 bottles of Canceaux and 1 bottle of Canceaux Turbeaux. Both are excellent. By far my favorite hot sauce. I use it on everything. Pro tip: mix with a little ranch to mix it up once in a while.

First of all, I don’t even reach for my spices anymore because my turbeaux sauce is the only flavoring I use now. I’m obsessed with it. I gladly pay for shipping and that is not my style at all. It just saves me so much time. It’s delicious with everything I cook. I love it so much! thank you!
